What day of the week do the most Americans watch TV?
I'm looking for TV in general, not a specific show or station.

Sunday - it's always a lazy day of nursing hangovers. It's America's #1 pastime.

It really depends because I don't always have time to watch what I would like to so I will just record it on my Dvr and watch it when I can. But in ''General'' you ask? Americans watch TV everyday, But the Government is changing Regular stations on TV now, It's going all digital in June or July and people who can't afford to pay for Cable or can't get a converter Box they are stuck w/out tv, But they are sending out coupons for a free box if you apply. Isn't that crazy?

It would have to be Monday. The work population is extremely tired on Mondays and they stay at home and save the errands and fun for later in the week. Watching tv doesn't use much energy and is a mindless activity - just what an exhausted laborer would want.

For most... it's every day. Usually in the evening after coming home from work/school, or on Saturday/Sunday afternoon-nights. And those who don't have jobs or don't go to school... pretty much a majority of their waking hours, and that is what you call a couch-potato. I'd have to guess that pretty much 50% of the American population fall into that category even if they work and go to school... because besides that, that's all they do.
Or they just spend all their time on Yahoo Answers....
By the way.. I'm American, so I'm talking about me also XD

Sunday. It is the day when nobody is at work (apart from some people). Loads more people will watch it when the NFL season starts.
I'd say Sunday, but who doesn't watch TV every day?

Most Americans have a tv taped to their head and watch it everyday.

Sunday is the big ratings night
Saturday and Friday are the worst ( in that order) so if you favorite show gets moved to Sat night, its on its way out

I'm poor, so the weekdays. There's nothing really good to watch during the weekends when you have like five channels.
