Why The Heck are we considering releasing prisoners from GITMO and giving the welfare?

This sounds like the latest talking point coming from the fringes.

Prisoners, when released from Gitmo, will be put into prisons in the US until they are charged with a crime and tried, or released because no evidence of a crime exists.

There is a possibility of this happening. They will go before trial, and either get convicted or not. Based on this, they will decide whether they will be released or not.
