Creative ways to reveal gender....?

We are finding out the gender of our baby in May, but I want to find a very creative way to tell our parents the gender of the baby. This is the first grandchild for each!

Take both set of grandparents out to dinner. Have some flowers already on the table (2 sets so each can take one home). Pink flowers for a girl (easy to find) and blue flowers for a boy (iris's). Both you and your husband wear either pink or blue (they have pink Polo's for guys- if he will do that). You can even arrange for the restaurant to bring menus to the table that have "its a boy!" or "its a girl" inside the menu.

My spouse is in Iraq, so I had the doctor write down the gender at the ultrasound appointment (without telling me). Then I mailed the letter out to my spouse for him to open on New Years. He called me up at midnight on New Years and opened the letter while on the phone with me.

After I found out I'm having a girl. I drew the female gender sign on my belly and sent it out to my family. You could print it out and mail it or email it. I had a blast doing it and it was very memorable! I'm now putting the big event in my pregnancy scrapbook.

You could tell them you have a gift for them and give them a wrapped box with a baby sock/bootie in the color blue for a boy or pink for a girl. Also put a picture of the ultrasound and have it say it's a boy/girl.

Draw a pink bow on your belly in washable marker and write "It's a GIRL!" below the bow. If is a boy write in blue marker and draw a balloon on each side of the writing.

How about making some shirts or getting some made that say "grandma" and "grandpa" on them in either pink or blue
