The bikie gangs will never be disposed of. Not a chance, despite what Mr Rudd has to say. They've been around for over thirty years and possibly longer and they'll remain.
From what I've personally heard and seen from many years ago, if the police were called to a bikie gang fight, they'd give it 20 minutes or so and then turn up. Rather speaks for itself I'd say.
As to the gun law, yes it's helped a lot in Australia but if the certain elements want guns, they'll always be able to get them - a little thing called the black market.
With the newer element of 'Notorious' on the block (the bikie gang without a bike??) I think there's going to be somewhat of a nasty war in the future between these gangs and unfortunately more lives will be lost.
There's a big difference between biker and bikie groups too and as to the referance to 'Stone'. That's a movie that was made way back in 1974 and not really relevant in today's society.
