I think a better question to ask is why a 'religion of peace' wages war against a small sect of people over a small piece of land... I mean, 'infidel' America has managed to live peacefully with other cultures.. America allows people to set up small versions of other countries within it's own borders ('little China's and little Italy's are everywhere)!

Israel is not the problem. Look at a map. Are they in any position to start a fight??!! They're surrounded. They do retaliate- which any self-respecting nation should when its enemies have vowed to massacre the entire populace...

If the Muslims stop fighting with them, the fighting would cease- no more folks dead. Problem solved.

The Muslim world should let the Jews have the land. Let 'em just have it. If 'infidel' America can do it, so should a so-called 'religion of peace.'

If the Muslims cannot do this, then Islam is truly not the 'peaceful' faith it claims to be...

Because people in all other religions fear the spread of Islam. The more it is spread the more fear all others get. This is not written in anger. But we have to know the reality. There are many statements in Koran against Jews, Christians and idolaters and it is advocated to take a 'Life for Life'. (Revenge approved) Some Muslims scholars declare "Yes I am a terrorist in that sense" position adding fuel to the fire. Only when they cant create violence they talk of peace. So although killings done by Israel are horrible and inhuman as we have seen so on TV, all non muslims have the feeling they are helpful in stopping worse situations that can be created by the Muslims when they get the upper hand. This is a fact everyone of us have to be aware of because no longer can countries live in isolation now.

As verma g mentions above they are killing themselves too as 'killings' is the first step, not the last step in making the whole world muslim. This really is Satanic thinking not Godly!

Officially, Jews are only targeting people who attack them, only targeting fanatics from Hezbollah and other violent organizations. However, it's well known that they're killing, even on purpose sometimes, civilians and other people, especially in Gaza. Governments, such as the US, simply turn a blind eye to that, for some reason.

The US shouldn't be supporting Israel in the way that they are right now, because Israel has nuclear weapons, and they are an Apartheid country (AKA bad country).

Jews were given the land of Israel in 1948, after WWII, but other than that, they have no real claim to the land. On the whole, Jewish and Israeli people are pretty nice and good people, but the army and the government is pretty sketchy, ethically and politically.

If you really want to be educated on how this whole thing started, read the book, The Lemon Tree (first 50 pages suck, but it's really dense and educational after that.)

I think it sucks what happened to so many Innocent people. There was no reason to violate / murder so many people. Hezbollah had no Business hiding in the closet firing missiles at Israel though. They should have been taken care of in public!

No one can do anything, because it is written that they have to fight till Jews recognize Jesus as the Lord.

They usually did not say anything because the killings were retaliatory to the extremists shooting rockets into homes of innocent people. People would have stand up more to support them if they would just stop strapping bombs into their bodies and blowing themselves up to kill innocent people.

I've noticed that many Muslims have to distort historical facts and invent untruths in order to make Islam appear legitimate. Do you really think there's a need for deceptions in a religion of truth? Do you think a god of deception will keep his promises to you? This is why you should abandon Islam and come to God by faith in His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The TRUE God is the God of TRUTH, not deception!
