Can I breed a dog with lyme's?

Not really interested in breeding, just curious if lyme's can sped to its pups.

Update:

Like I said- I wasnt interested in breeding. Just wondering if a dog with lymes can pass it to their pups.

    Lyme Disease?

As far as I know, Lyme disease is transmitted by tick bites, not via the placenta. But, Lyme disease can weaken the body, so that would make it dangerous and irresponsible to breed a dog infected with Lyme disease.
