Old wall-mounted fan heater in new 'wet-room'?

New wet room / shower room but landlord's builders have left old wall mounted fan heater on the wall. If the spray from the hand held spray nozzle should hit the coiled metal element whilst the heater is on, what would happen? Is it a hazard? Should I ask for it to be removed?

Your advice, please, people who know.

If you are in the UK this arrangement is illegal and contravenes building regulations. There are laws about electrical devices in bathrooms. Get it fixed before something happens.

Source(s): Previously upgrading my bathroom and not being allowed to have certain electrical equipment in the bathroom.
