If you are no longer living in Spain and need criminal records from Spain, consult the following web page for instructions: www.mjusticia.es . There is an option for

the page to be read in English. You must complete the following actions:

    - Complete form 790 (consists of three pages)

    - Notarize a copy of your passport at a Spanish Consulate in the U.S.

    - Supply a notarized authorization for U.S. Embassy to act on your behalf, which

you can obtain from a Spanish Consulate in the United States.

    - Pay the required fee (see bank account information on Spanish Ministry website: www.mjusticia.es ).

Once you have all the above documents, send them to:

    US Embassy Madrid

    C/ Serrano, 75

    28006 Madrid

    Attn: CONS/ACS

I had to do the same thing when living in Prague. Sadly in my experience, for a criminal record, you typically can't use a power of attorney and must go to the embassy or consulate personally. Unfortunately, the closest consulates to Georgia are in Miami (305 446-0585) and New Orleans (504 525-4951). I would recommend calling each of these consulates separately to see what routes they might suggest. Good luck.

Misdemeanors and felonies stay on your checklist. it somewhat is referred to as a offender historic previous no longer a offender checklist of 7 years. I run offender histories daily and all offenses stay in this historic previous. I see annoying the Peace and misdemeanor robbery from 30 years in the past. that's by no potential taken off of your historic previous. it somewhat is all arrests! although while you're discovered "no longer accountable", the arrest nevertheless maintains to be on your offender historic previous. The offender historic previous is of all arrests and then it exhibits the disposition.

Try calling the court in Spain directly and asking for your records to be sent to you.
