What makes a soccer ball curves?

when a ball is shot with a spin there is velocity difference at the sides due to d spin the side of the ball which is moving in the direction of the movement of the ball has higher speed and the other side has lower speed due to these variation in velocities so there is a reduction in pressure on the side of the ball where velocity is higher...so ball moves from high pressure area to low pressure are..and thats how it curves

I'm right footed, but when I was a kid I taught myself to kick with my left as well. I found if I kicked the ball with the outside of my foot the ball swerved. That was in the days of heavy footballs.

The angle at which you kick the ball. if u swing ur foot and hit the bottom right of the ball, it will curve to the left since all the momemtum is going to that side.

it depends on where you hit the ball with your foot. like if you hit it on the right side it will go left and vise-versa. But if you hit is below the "equator" then it will go in the air a little. I think thats what you want but i hope it helps anyway

there is no scientific way......you just do it if you know how to do it, like me!!

they way they make it spin makes it curve but some players just whale on it hard has hell so it moves unpredictably, Cristiano Ronaldo is notorious for that

the same thing that happens to a flat disk the leading edge creates lift that is transferred to the side causes it to tilt a soccer ball spins its lift spins with it.

kick it like your about to kick it straight the whole time, move your foot to the side of the soccer ball and it spins.
