How to house break our puppy?
We recently got a 3 month old Pomeranian puppy, he will not use the training pads that we have bought from Pet-co. And when we take him outside after he eats he holds his pooh and then comes right into the house and uses it.
I am at my Witt's ends, what am I suppose to do? Please give me some real advise. , I need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Courtney. Throw the training pads away. You need to train yourselves to recognize the puppy's "potty needs signals". Learn his schedule. He's a baby and he cannot be expected to be trained on your schedule.
Take him out first thing in the morning. Again about 20-30 minutes after his breakfast. Be patient when he goes out...let him sniff around (on leash of course) until he does something. When he does, praise him and give him a small treat.
He also needs to be taken out after he wakes up from a nap. Again, praise and treat.
He needs to be taken out before bed time as well as after an afternoon meal.
Once you make time to learn his schedule, it is much easier as the puppy matures and he gains control of his elimination systems.
Potty training a puppy is very much like toilet training a child. They will have accidents, they are not perfect. You cannot blame them for the fact that you didn't recognize the signals. Small dogs are often harder to train than big dogs.

Look, first, training pads are foolish. Get rid of them. Trust me it'll help a ton :) every morning let the dog out for 20 minutes, even if it barks. ;p then bring her in, I highly reccomend a kennel for during the day, until she's kennel trained, because your house will be a mess. And when you get home let her out, then before bed let her out for 5-10 minutes. If the puppy piddles around the house, without the pads, then scold her, and say No in a firm voice. You sometimes have to make them smell it first too, because they dont like it.

i as well just got a puppy and the one piece of advice i could say is get rid of the puppy pads because it is condoning peeing and pooping in the house. watch your puppy to learn her signs like sniffing or circling so you will no when she is about to go. as we all no puppies have small bladders so they need to be taken out every 30-60 minutes. the one key thing that will help you potty train persistencence.

right as an animal phsycologist i have to deal with this all the time.
Right, its just like a bed wetting child
u need to get a DOG nappy, they cannot use a child's one as this will get torn or chewed.
When the dog has worn ths for a few times it will get sick of having to wear it when inside because then it knows that when outside is the time to do a numer 2 or urinate.
hope this helps o and u can get the nappies from any good VET, phsycologist or well known pet companies. Well u can in my country anyway!

Nothing to get worked up about so calm down.Take him out after he eats and make sure he goes.Don't look or talk to him.Just stand there sneaking peeks at him every once in awhile. If he goes in the house put his nose in it and say no firmly. Then put him outside and clean it up.
