How do I go about telling my new employer that I'm pregnant?

I've been offered 3 new positions all which start in a few weeks. The current position I'm in ends March 31st due to the company closing. I'm still deciding which job to take but also very worried because I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant. (Barely showing) I'm certain that if I had told them during the interview process I was pregnant, I would probably not have landed any of these jobs. So, how should I go about telling them that I'm pregnant and I would need to take maternity leave in a 4 months. Anyone else been in this situation??

Any ideas are appreciated!!

sounds kind of like me but I was not that far. I started back at my job the week after I found otu I was pregnant. I waitd till I was 20 weeks to tell my supervisor I was pregnant. And Still havent got the guts to tell HR because I am afraid of the leave since I do not qualify for FMLA and the company is doing lay offs! I am currently 25 1/2 weeks.

I would wait till you have been there a few weeks before breaking the news to them. Show them your good and can do the job before breaking the Ill be awhile for a couple months news. And I read somewhere you only have to give hr a 30 days notice before going on leave technically.

You don't need to tell them until after you work there for a few months. It's none of their business and if they ask you it's discrimination. But, since you are going to want maternity leave, sometimes you may need to be there 6 months up front. Look over the company handbook once you fill out all of that paperwork and see what it says.

Just be honest with them. You probably should have already told them that you were pregnant. I had a job that when I went in for an application, she asked if I was pregnant even before she would give me the application. I would just tell all of your prospective employers that you are pregnant and see if it is going to be a problem.
