~Mom to be 2 my Princess 81909~

Hello mommies!

First let me just say, I'm very frustrated. I'm about 4 days overdue and still no signs of my little princess yet. I get a few contractions here and there and slight pain in the pelvic area but other than that I haven't felt anything that's alarming. Baby is still very active. Have any of you experienced this at all and ended up going into labor or had to be induced? I have only dilated 2cm and 50% effaced for the past 2 weeks. I've also just moved an hour away from the hospital I plan to deliver her and worried I'm might go in to labor and not make in time Please share some experiences and advice on how to handle this. Thank you!

I'm pregnant and due in 7 weeks, this pregnancy hasnt been the easiest emotionally from my relationship with the father to losing my job and financial issues. Why am I going through this and does it get better. Date of of birth is 9-24-1985

I've been having difficulty sleeping now that I'm getting bigger by the week. I'm very worried that I might be hurting the baby while I'm sleeping due to my positions. I usually lay on my left or right side but occasionally I wake up and find myself slightly laying on my belly. Could this be hurting my baby at all. Also it seems like lately when I wake up my ribs are painful? What's going on? Anyone else experiencing this! What helps you sleep at night? Any suggestions would help!

31 weeks 4 days with my first...

It just seems as if time is dragging by and I just want to fast forward time too 11 weeks from now. Its seriously driving me nuts that my little angel is not here yet. Anyone else feeling like this??

Just curious how many people are driving long distance for work? If so, how long is the commute?

I work 52 miles from home and it takes about 45 minutes to get to work then another 45 min back.

I'm just trying to figure out when would be a good time to go on maternity leave. I'm due August 19th and not certain when I will start. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I work in an office/call center environment, about 45 minutes from home so I have to put that into consideration as well.

This is my first and just curious as to when most of you went into labor with your first child. I'm also trying to figure out how soon I should go on maternity leave. My due date is August 19th which is the father's b-day and it would be nice if she was born then but from what I hear the due date is not exact. When did you start maternity leave and how early or late was your first??

I know they calculate from the first day of ur menstrual period? Why is it that they consider pregnancy 9 months but in actuality its 10 months. What am I missing?

I've been offered 3 new positions all which start in a few weeks. The current position I'm in ends March 31st due to the company closing. I'm still deciding which job to take but also very worried because I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant. (Barely showing) I'm certain that if I had told them during the interview process I was pregnant, I would probably not have landed any of these jobs. So, how should I go about telling them that I'm pregnant and I would need to take maternity leave in a 4 months. Anyone else been in this situation??

I'm a 23 year old soon to be mom in August I'm almost 19 weeks pregnant, scared and alone. I just recently broke up with the baby's father due to so much unneeded stress,confusion, and emotional abuse from his part. I just felt it was best for me and the baby to just keep away from him. As a result I'm now alone, scared and really worried about the future. Are they any support groups to meet women who have gone through the same. I have a great support system from my family and a few friends but its hard cause I have no one to relate too.

I think I have been feeling my baby moving but I'm not really sure what the feeling is like as this is my first pregnancy. Usually I feel the moves and sort of like kicks when I'm sleeping on my side at night time. How soon did you start feeling the so called flutters?

I'm really worried that my baby is going to be big for the mere fact that I was a large baby when I was born and so was my boyfriend. My family keeps making statements that I need to be careful how much I eat or else the baby is going to be huge!! I refuse to have vaginal birth if my baby is over 8 pounds! That's a scary thought!

I'm a first time mom to be and just wondering how long it normally takes to heal from giving birth. I haven't quite decided if I'm going with natural or c-section. I'm also worried I won't be healed up enough to return to school for fall semester.

For some reason, I keep craving mashed potatoes with peanut butter M&M's and I love the smell of AJAX or the smell of mud when it rains outside.. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing weired cravings?

My credit score is 600 and we have been declined several places for private loans. My co-signer makes about 60,000 a year and I'm a student making about 26,000 annually. Anyone know of a lender or bank who is lenient on credit restrictions..Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I don't qualify for federal loans, grants financial aid etc. I'm pretty much down to one option and that's a private loan. Its either that or I drop out of college. Thank you in advance
