Was your baby born late, on time or early with your first pregnancy?

I was due Oct 18, 08 and I delivered Sept 29, 08- three weeks early. I started my maternity leave in June 08 because of some complications. She arrived on her own and she was 5.08lbs. I've heard though, that most 1st timers go late.

My first was 5 days late. I went on maternity leave 2 weeks before he was born.

I gave birth to my first child about 8 days before my due date. I started my maternity leave at 32 weeks due to pain and pressure in my hips and legs...and was on partial bedrest.

My friend Gwen worked until she was nearly 38 weeks, but ended up delivering her baby after week 41. It is different for each expectant mother and can differ between pregnancies.

I am going on maternity leave may 9th my due date is may 21st. I would work right up until I go into labor which were my plans but I am a CNA and the job is getting to hard for me. Not only that but I work 12 hour days and its just way to much.

I don't know when my mom went on maternity leave. I'm not even sure if she was working at the time. I was her first and I came 12 days late. I think it all just depends and doesn't have much to do with how many children you've already had. Hope this helps!

i was induced on my due date, i was measuring big so they didnt want me to go past it...i had an 8 lb 7 oz little girl hehe. i went out 7 days before my due date...i probably would have worked up until the weekend before my induction, but i was really fed up with the people i worked with, lol. if i were you, id just decide to work as long as you can, thats what i did. the dr wont give you a good estimated date to start your leave

My daughter was almost 2 wks late. They finally induced me. I have been late with all my kids. Induced with all but 1. I worked up intill about 3wks before my due date. I really don't know anyone who's baby was born on that exact day, Good Luck.

Hey my son was born 37 weeks to the day (the way they estimated). Other than his birth defect he was a healthy normal weight size everything. The only reason they took points off his apgar was because his bowls were on the outside. He was born with Gastroschsisis.

my first child was due apr 11, i had her on the 14th, but i was in labor for 3 days, and my dr put me on leave b/c i got sick ...my second child i was due on aug 18 didnt have him til sep 1 with only a couple hours of labor but they had to induce my labor with him b/c i wasnt progressing and he was under too much stress, his heart beat dropped to 40 bpm. every pergnancy is different....good luck
