After I have a somewhat big meal, why does my face start tingling?

The other day i realized that when ever i have a decently sized meal, my face starts to tingle like its going numb along with random parts of my upper body. It feels like im going to faint on occasion. I have low blood sugar according to my mom so im not sure if it has anything to do with it. I don't have diabetes, im just prone to fainting.

Update:

I'm almost positive i don't have any allergies.

It sounds like you might have celiac disease. Try a gluten free diet for a couple of weeks. You still should see a doctor in case its something more serious like blood pressure.

Just a note, celiac disease can cause a number of symptoms in addition to the random tingling. It can lead to Irritable Bowel Syndrome, fatigue, headaches, muscle aches and more. It is very often misdiagnosed and so goes untreated for years. If a gluten free diet manages your symptoms, please talk to your doctor and have the appropriate tests run to document your condition.

Sounds to me like you have an allergy to something you are eating, and it doesn't have to be a severe one, and, may be to something you don't even know is part o what you are eating. In other words, maybe the food is prepared in oil that has something that you are allergic to in it, but, not severely enough to cause a serious reaction, but, face tingling is a good indicator of allergies.

you should see a doctor. you could be having a reaction to something you are eating. You may also be a little hypertensive when digesting a large meal. Some people no matter your age cannot digest large meals easy.
