AVG 8 (free) and Dial-up Connection Problem.?
I am on Tesco dial up, and when I start up from hibernation (stand by) and before making the dial up connection, I get a warning that AVG update failed, and a local area connection is unplugged.The mouse pointer then leaps about and selects all sorts of things and freezes.
If I go back to stand by again and start, all is well for a while. Is there anything I can do to AVG to stop this ?

I don't believe that AVG is compatible with a dial-up connection.
