When people travel by bus, they usually spend the journey on their phone with free wifi. What happens when the battery dies with no charging points around, do you call the electricity company.

I have Autocad 2002 on XP using an old 16"monitor it works fine,when using a KVM switch and my 22" screen supplied with Windows 10, if I try to draw circles they appear as ellipses.

Is there a cunning way to solve this screen resolution problem without too much hassle?

Should aircraft companies consider building large flying boats to try to solve the problems encountered by adding runways to existing airports? or perhaps amphibious craft.

As most landings are automatically controlled these days,would it be possible to construct additional runways over the existing ones on a raised structure. Taxiways and turn offs could be ramped to join the existing ones and the lower runway would be mostly dry in the rain and free from snow. Raised side panels could prevent side winds and a selective fire sprinkler system could aid cleaning and the rescue of passengers from aircraft with battery fires.

Surly this must be cheaper than building a whole new airport in the Thames estuary?

As far as I can see, the 'sport' provides no feed back to the car makers. In the past, we had disc brakes, stop lights, seat belts, and tyre design. Where is automatic braking, and automatically dimmed stop lights at traffic lights, and seat belts that don't hinder your exit after an accident? What's the point of 'sticky' tyres for more grip in pot holed roads?

The Titanic had two major design faults, the bulkheads didn't go all the way to the top, therefore the compartments were not water tight,and there were not enough lifeboats for everybody, White Star Line claimed it to be unsinkable.The crew, largely from Southampton, didn't keep a proper look out for icebergs, and consequently, there was a great many lives lost.

When I start my PC I get a pop up warning 'ddcmigrate.exe - Application Error' The application failed to initalize properly (0x8000003) click OK to terminate the application. This appears three times.

I also get 'Assert Failed\Projects\wtKernal\src\win32\cm\core\cmcodemodule.cpp:90m_codehandle!= Null' This also appears three times. What action can I take?

Can I replace my CD reader with an ASUS CRW-5232AX in my old Gateway P5-133 so that I can write large files to it. The only other out put from the PC is a floppy disc drive and its not connected to the internet. I can't find a driver for the CD-RW compatible with Windows 95. Will a driver for Windows 98 work, or is the CD-RW too 'Advanced' for the old operating system.

Any suggestions short of dumping the lot would be appreciated.

When operating the lever it tilts the mirror assembly, so how do I see the same view of the car behind only dimmer. What is the theory?

I am on Tesco dial up, and when I start up from hibernation (stand by) and before making the dial up connection, I get a warning that AVG update failed, and a local area connection is unplugged.The mouse pointer then leaps about and selects all sorts of things and freezes.

If I go back to stand by again and start, all is well for a while. Is there anything I can do to AVG to stop this ?

Twelve people from Southampton Health Authority have voted to add more fluoride to the public water supply to combat children's tooth decay, as I am not in agreement with this,can it be filtered out?

I have used my 'Petite' 2 port PS/2 KVM switch CS - 62A without problems untill recently. I now find that my mouse freezes jerks and stops all together sometimes.If I put my computer into 'Hibernation' it solves the problem temporary. This happens on both computers - so I think it must be the switch. Is there anything I can try to resolve this?
