Windows XP. - Belkin KVM switch - Windows 10 .Screen resolution.problem.?
I have Autocad 2002 on XP using an old 16"monitor it works fine, when using a KVM switch and my 22" screen supplied with Windows 10, if I try to draw circles they appear as ellipses.
Is there a cunning way to solve this screen resolution problem without too much hassle?

make sure you are driving the new screen at its ONE native screen setting eg 1920x1080(iyou drive it at a non standard size it may just show a black screen, pressing its menu may make it show you what size you are driving it at) *** note because over time screen dimensions are growing, your OLD gpu may not understand a newer bigger screen. It is possible though that you havnt yet installed the correct monitor driver, although it sounds like your gpu is poor. if you have a free slot in this old pc of yours then consider a cheap graphics card, even a 2nd hand one will drive the new screen correctly. so it has to be a card that also drives your old one too, I am assuming its a standard 15 pin d-sub VGA. You may need to buy a now almost extinct PCI gpu, and NOT a newer pci-e(pci express) gpu which dont use the same type of slot. that swhy you may need a 2nd hand one.

With Windows XP? NO. It knows very little about advanced resolutions.
With Windows 10? Yes It knows much more about resizing for different resolutions.
