Do they sell fridges at Selfridges?

as they don't sell curry at Curry's. Is this a breach of the Trade Desdription Act?

The Trade Description Act, basically, says that goods must be described correctly and be fit for the purpose they are bought. Neither of those names indicates that they sell fridges or curry. However it must be remembered that nobody 'sells'. People 'buy'. If goods are advertised for sale but not available then they are just that, not available. It's not an offence.

By the way was the wool sold in Woolworth's worth it? Do the pounds in Poundstretcher get stretched?
