im thinking about choosing bellsouth for my internet provider, however you have to buy their modem. Does anybo?
Does anybody know how the att/bellsouth modems transfre to different providers, in case later we choose to use somebody else for our internet?

You can buy your own modem from Best Buy and then they won't charge you for that unit.....but ....if you are going to need to have a phoen & internet through them then ya....probally. I've have my own Motorola Modem from Best Buy before I ever got the internet and all I had to do was call them and have them turn on the service...they never even had to step foot in my house.

don't get them. it is very slow. i can walk faster.
