    Here in Minnesota you can get a DWI by riding a bicycle.

    Hello,

    In many states you can get a BUI on any type of vessel. Very generally speaking, a vessel is anything that can be used to transport people or goods through the water. So a boat without a motor, like a canoe or small sailboat, is still subject to the same laws. I'd recommend checking your state's legal information office or other such to find out what laws are in place specifically for your state. However, it is safe to assume that it is ileagal in most of the U.S.
