Why isn't anybody adopting kids from Orphanages in the USA?

Since Slumdog Millionaire won an Oscar, will India be the next trendy gig for adoptions?

I'm guessing "yes". I also think Indian culture may diffuse more into western civilization due to various Indian influences that are becoming popular. These include: Cheetah Girls: One World, Slumdog Millionare, and Aishwarya Rai from The Pink Panther 2.

To me I thought there was actually LESS orphans in the USA. By answering your question, sry I'm just a kid! I have to say because ALOT of kids in the USA are bad. Well the older ones! There was one kid, his mom was smoking when she was pregnant and mostly ALL her kids lived, she had five. This kid's brain was damaged because the mom smoked, and now his foster FAMILIES are giving up on him because he was doing REALLY REALLY bad things like REALLY! Oh and some people they don't really have that much time to take care of kids because the economy is down and there are ALOT of reasons! O and in that movie it was kinda sad because the guy did something with his eyes! Maybe people can't take care of kids, or maybe they're not just ready! I REALLY hope u understand me! If u don't I'm REALLY SRY I'm just a teen!
