London is preparing for RIOTS during the G20 conference, why aren't Americans this pissed off?

Because Americans are spoiled and as long as they have all their trinkets and gadgets they aren't going to rock the boat....they don't care enough about freedom or anything else to stand up and raise a little hell even though they *blah blah blah* about freedom and this country so on and so forth. Ask the average American two of the books Thomas Paine wrote and they'll look at you sideways and say, "Who is that????"

Actually, Seattle had a big blow up riot a few years back when it was the G8 Summit....but those were "tree huggers" and no one pays attention to them....us.....

....and I'm too old to go on the protest circuit anymore. I was in Greenpeace Action for a number of years back in the late 80's early 90's and those zip ties they restrain you with hurt!! But at least I went out and showed my a** while so many others were sitting at home trying to figure out how to hook up their latest TV or CD player while I risked life and limb to ban the use of pesticides in the state of Missouri because the farmers runoff killed one branch of the Mark Twain River...I had other adventures too but being "green" wasn't hip or in style then until someone saw a way to turn a profit off of it by using scare tactics on the public.

What I find interesting is employees in France are holding their bosses "hostage" after they've been laid off. To negotiate a better severance deal. Sony, 3M and now Caterpillar. Only the Cat situation actually had the police come. There is something wrong with that. Kidnapping and hostage taking is being a terrorist. Hopefully, Americans will behave more civilized. We shall see.

Americans are not really known for riots and protesting. these countries protest so often they can get a riot going at the drop of a hat. here it takes planning. But as time goes by I think we will see more protesting. like the tea parties. it took planning to get these things going.But we will get the hang of it.people haven;t been this upset about a president for many years.

We Americans are pissed off. And just wait until after the G-20. If Obama relinquishes just one ounce of our nation's financial system to foreign control, the crap will really hit the fan! I think there will be 'tea parties' of such massive proportions that Congress will really get nervous and hopefully turn our ship around. Otherwise, we will be sunk, and the revolt that will take place will be devastating!

Europeans have always been the ones to riot. Americans think Europeans trust their government more than them but it's in fact the other way around. Americans sit and do nothing while their government takes, at least europeans riot, even though it mightn't work.

I hope they they Nuke those G20 people till they glow.

I would like to see their Heads on Spikes and I have never felt so Bloodthirsty in my life.

Globalization must be stopped NOW.

Who cares what world leaders are doing if Oprah is on.
