Whats wrong when I get a headache while lifting weights?

Sometimes when I'm benching weights, I'll start to get a really bad headache thats length varies from 5 minutes to a few hours! Any reasons why?

    Check your breathing while lifting. Be sure your air supply is good. The only reason I used to get headaches was from over-working and not enough hydration/rest while working out. Be sure your hydrated and breathing throughout your workouts. Good luck.. headaches can really ruin a workout.

    could be alot of things. if you don't exhale while lifting the load that would be one cause. more serious causes could be a dramatic decrease or increase in blood pressure
