whenever i start my google homepage and start writing even a letter for searching it shows the past searches of the same letter. i want to remove these past searches to appear there. what should i do .its urgent

i have also deleted all history and cookies even then this problem exists

If you are talking about the search box on the Google web page, then click on the Preferences link next to the search box and set Query Suggestions to Do not provide.
If it is the search box in the toolbar, on mine I right-click the Search button next to the box and select Search Options and disable Suggest Searches as you type.

You turned on AutoComplete. The only way to remove this is by changing your web browser or just upgrading it.
When you put in a new web browser, type something in google and wait. A box will appear saying "Do you want to turn AutoComplete on". Say no and your problem will be fixed

Depends what browser your using.
Internet Explorer:
Safety > Delete Browsing History
Firefox:
Tools > Clear Private Data

open ie>> tools>> internet options>> on general tap click setting>> make temporary internet files to zero click ok, go to clear history and change the number to zero. that's it
