I am trying to determine the manufacturer of this older Side by Side Double Barrel?

My father passed down a 12 gauge double barrel (side by side) shotgun, and I am having a difficult time identifying it.

The right barrel is stamped 'Holland Arms' DIVN, the left barrel is stamped 12 gauge 3" M&F Made in Spain

There is a marking of Z H on the bottom of the pistol style grip.

Can you tell me who made this shotgun (It is not a Holland and Holland - they were made in the UK)?

It can't be too old if it has a 3" chamber and is marked M&F(Modified and Full choke). Most of the old Spanish gunsmiths would have used the arcane "star stamps" to mark choke.

My guess is that it is less than 30 years old. Just guessing though, I'm too old to call that an "old" gun.

It is from one of the many Basque gun makers that produced inexpensive SXS for the American market in the 50's

They typically named themselves in ways that resembled established and respected gun makers, like Holland and Holland and so on

It would be almost impossible to determine the exact maker because most went under long ago and were very short lived

There are many Spanish made shotguns out there. Most are of decent quality. AyA is one name that comes to mind.
