What do you think was missing from Twilight?

I'm interested to know what Twilight fans thought was missing from either the series in general, or more specifically from the first novel. What did you want to happen that didn't? What do you think should have happened differently?! What would you change if you got Stephenie Meyer to rewrite you your own personal version of it (without changing Bella's name to yours- that's just cheating!)

I liked Twilight but each of the following books got more and more put-downable! Breaking Dawn was an absolute chore to read, to be honest I just kept going in the hope of a battle scene or someone dying or something. Sadly I was extremely disappointed! Should have been left at Twilight and kept the rest of the story for herself!

    Bella's personality for a start.

Then any kind of common sense.

Then the non existant fight in Breaking Dawn.

And above all,Stephanie Meyer's writing skill

    From what I've heard:

    1) The author's literary skills.

    2) A decent plot line that continues throughout the series.

Good fights. All the way through Breaking Dawn I was waiting for a fight but it never came. It may sound strange, but I wanted someone to die. It makes things much more realistic. Like in Harry Potter, it is sad but it makes it so much more believable, even through it is about something as unbelievable as witches and wizards or vampires.

    In breaking dawn

You read and are very perpared for this huge epic battle and they just ...talk it out.... that is lame. I was dissappointed if that is the last book in the serise ...they shouldn't have disappionted

actually to be honest everybook after twilight was missing everything that makes a good series

    Plot, characterisation, and consistency.

I wouldn't mind somebody writing my own personal version of it (I keep looking in hope for a decent fanfiction retcon, no luck so far) but no way would I ask Meyer to do it.

there was a description about everything EXCEPT for what the sex was like. I know the book was intended for young adult but young adults have sex more than adults so i know i wasnt the only one curious about it. i was just wondering since his body was already hard like stone, did that include his penis?
