Yahoo Answers is shutting down on May 4th, 2021 (Eastern Time) and beginning April 20th, 2021 (Eastern Time) the Yahoo Answers website will be in read-only mode. There will be no changes to other Yahoo properties or services, or your Yahoo account. You can find more information about the Yahoo Answers shutdown and how to download your data on this help page.

When I search Google and click on the results, sometimes I'm redirected to another URL. Do I have a virus?

It redirects me to another URL and then my address bar scrolls through about 6 other URLs before it settles on a random foreign site. Then if I go back to Google, do the same search and click on the same link, it will go to the actual page that I was trying to visit.

Do I have a virus, or does the site I'm trying to visit have an advertiser that is session-hijacking?

it seems you have a vundo variant, or it could be a malware

run an antivirus check and a malware check, and if your scanner detects something, copy the name of the virus/malware on to google and there will be dozens of links to help removing the virus

I've experienced this before. I hate to say it but you may have a virus and/or malware on your computer. I had this issue when I downloaded Perfect Defender 2009, which turned out to be a fake antivirus that would redirect me to infected websites. What's also a bummer is the fact that probably all of those sites you get redirected to give you viruses. My solution would be to find a trustworthy antivirus and do a full computer scan.
