Does this make me...gay...bi...whatever?
I've wondered about this one for years. Now I'm male, and love women in all forms, well most forms. There are some that even I wouldn't go near. However, I have something of a curious problem.
For about oh...well near on thirteen years now, since I was in college, I've played on these online text based games called MUSHes. In every last case of them, I have played a female character.
I've never actually played a guy, and the more I think about it I don't think I could play one. Which is odd I'd have to say, since as I said...I'm male. I've never had an attraction, even in the slightest sense, for a guy, and yet when i'm in game, I can't even force myself to be male.
So, what does this make me beyond weird?
(Note: A friend suggested the word "Cyber Transgendered" claiming it meant someone who was male but played at being female. I didn't like that terming for it, but...well, was he right?
Mushes aren't combat based. They're more role play, but let me add some curious details.
I like being pretty. Screw that. I LOVE being pretty.
I have often found myself wishing IRL that I was born female, but obviously having done nothing about it.
Oddly, I'm happiest when I'm on the games, playing the girls. It's as though I can be myself.

1. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with you.
2. It doesn't make you gay or bi.
First of all, no one but YOU can tell yourself for sure if you are gay or bi.
Secondly, the fact that you have already clarified that you like to be pretty is the biggest tip. Males have been constantly subjected to being what society has termed 'manly'. Most people do not realize that this is literally programming, and they also don't understand that males have a lot of the same needs as females. Just because you are a man does not mean that you don't need to be told that you are beautiful or be held.
There is nothing wrong, gay, bi or otherwise about it. It's human nature and is also something that a lot of people become confused about. Being held or being told that you're good at something, pretty, beautiful, or just complimented in general is not by any means something that is purely governed by gender. That is ridiculous and society has forced this belief upon us.
It has everything to do with self worth, confidence and self esteem.
These are all very important for a person to feel good about themselves, male or female, so don't ever question your sexuality unless you are actually interested in other males and find them at the very least attractive.

What MUSHes? 8D *shot*
Up until the extra details, I would say that what you described is completely normal. Roleplay is roleplay, it's meant to be fun however you decide to play.
However, the part about you wishing you were born female sounds as though you *might* be transsexual. That's a BIG *might*. I think you should do some research on transsexuals and see if you fall into that category.

I don't think that makes you anything really. Its very common for people to change themselves and act completely different than they normally would when playing a role-playing type game online. that's half the fun of those types of games, you can pretend to be anything you want even a different creature. I say when you play online have fun and do what you want as long as you aren't hurting anyone its all good.

It's perfectly healthy (note I preferred not to say normal, that's a word with negative connotations in here, see video if I can find it). It's just role-play, and if you enjoy it, then whats the problem. :)
-Edit-
Your additional comments change the above slightly, so ignore me; while I'm a bisexual guy, wanting/wishing to be female is outside my sphere of experience/understanding (ie I really cant help, support yes, sympathize yes, understand fully no).

The gender you identify with and the gender you are attracted 2 are separate things. Maybe you're a lesbian trapped in a man's body!? :) The fact that you may enjoy fantasizing about being a woman does not change who you find yourself attracted to. No worries!

There isn't an issue there, everyone knows the girl characters are always way cooler and usually get you into groups faster because people think you're a girl off the bat.

Cyber is not reality, even though certain things like bullying can cross the line.
I still see you as completely straight (heterosexual)
