Barney Frank just introduced a bill, according to the Huckabee Report, that gives the government control over the wages of ANY EMPLOYEE that works for a company (ex. AIG) that received a government bailout.

Next step? Government control over wages of employees of companies that receive government contracts? What about companies that deal with companies that received bailout money or have government contracts?

Is our government working towards controlling everyone's wages?

That was the "change" from the beginning. Anyone who bothered to look at who Obama is and his past relationships would have understood what was coming and what his agenda is. Instead glassy eyed mobs chanting "yes we can" voted this guy in. Now we have a community organizer with no business experience demanding a business plan from GM. Does it concern anyone that he has never even written a business plan himself?

Zaphod... WHY is the Govt even considering bailing out a company?  You ask why they should be allowed to set wages, I ask why should they be allowed to bail them out?  Comapnies that can't compete fail all the time, that is the nature of capitalism and it is a healthy thing.

Why can't the government run a company that its funding?  Seriously, where is the logic in giving companies TAXPAYER money to spend as they see fit?  The idea is to save the company from failure so that the government can eventually withdraw and the company can go back to doing whatever it was doing before it started to fail...its not the government's job to continue to provide capital so that the people in charge of that company can continue running it into the ground...DUH!  So, no the government is not working toward controlling private industry and any notion that it is, is simply idiotic...or a Republican attempt at fear-mongering...(gee, why am I not surprised by that!)

Not just controlling our wages, but everything we do. Obama just appointed another CZAR... Transportation Czar. She plans to levy big fines to people traveling alone in cars rather than taking mass transportation.
But you have no idea how insignificant that is compared to their plans.
