potty training at 18 months?

she tells me when she has done it in her nappy but not before, i am trying naked time and keep putting her on the potty asking if she wants a wee wee and she says yes, doesn't sit still long goes off and does it so mid flow i pop her on the potty and just about have a party about it after!!

She is now going to nursery 1 afternoon a week and they don't allow naked time so how can i go about getting her to ask and any advice on the training would be great!

Thanks

Update:

Just to add i would not be starting the training if i didn't feel my daughter was ready to start learning!

-Give her a book to read while on the potty it will help with keeping her on the potty.

-Try putting her on the potty when she first wakes-up

    - Keep up with the party after she goes

    - Find words that she can us to let you know she needs to go potty when she goes pee maybe say " Oh i hear a waterfall" then later on ask do you need to go potty and say any more waterfalls?

-Make sure that you always keep a happy voice even with the mistakes

don't ask her, just say "let's go potty!" and have her sit there a few minutes

take her to the potty every time you would normally change her diaper, whenever YOU go to the potty, and after she wakes up & a little while after she eats or drinks anything. ask the day care to take her to the potty at those times as well (make up a schedule for them)

and it certainly is not too early for bladder control. my mom had all her kids potty trained by 18 months, and nearly all babies outside of america are potty trained around that time.

Keep it up at home, and tell her daycare to take her to the bathroom an hour after she drinks (or however long after drinking something she normally has to pee). Keep a diary to show when she eats and drinks, and how soon afterwards she has to use the bathroom.

18 months is kind of young for bladder control. I would just do it at home (like you have been doing) and make a routine of it. By the time she hits 2.. she'll be telling you and probably sooner than that.
