Sometimes it can happen. But, hamster have really poor eyesight, so they generally rely on your sent to recognize you.

Try moving your hand underneath the hamster to support its body weight and then lift it out. Or grab it softly by the scruff of its neck, usually only Syrian hamsters are ok with this though..

Yes, it should be fine. But, before you decide to disturb the hamster, try tapping on its cage first, letting it know you're there. That way you don't scare it or intimidate it. And also, hamsters are not nocturnal actually, they are actually active the most between 4 and 8 a.m. If that's not the case your hamster may be sick.....

Its possible, that it may be a cyst. A cyst is a fluid-filled cavity or sac. Sometimes it contains air or semisolid material. A hamster's cyst can be treated by a vet who drains the hamster’s cyst; even though cysts may reappear later. If the cyst bursts, you can apply the same procedure as to when a tumour bursts. If the cyst bursts, put some edible oil on it - preferably cooked oil; olive oil or car engine oil. This treatment helps the hamster not to lick the burst lump and thus the bleeding stops. This natural remedy is very useful so that the hamster will not die by losing blood from the lump. Or it can just be a simple mole that hamsters tend to get from old age.

If you hamster is bored it will either chew on the cage bars (if it lives in a metal cage) sqeauk for no apparent reason or sleep more than it should and possibley become over wieght. So try playing with it more or get it a hamster ball to run around in. :)

Ive had 2 hamsters earlier than and my potential must aid you no less than a little bit. one million.Well, what I do is I fill the meals bowl part-method, and difference it as soon as the hamster has eaten the entire meals. two. A hamster's cage demands to be wiped clean once or more every week. Two weeks on the such a lot. three. Well, hamsters are nocturnal, in order that they sleep within the day. You must relatively play with the hamster while he/she wakes up. Let it out of the cage for a even as. four. This is a VERY well query. You must certainly not, and I meen NEVER provide your hamster whatever with citric acid. If you do, your hamster gets unwell. So dont provide your hamster lemons, oranges, or tangerines. five. Dont get any air fresheners which can be in a twig bottle. You must get Air Wick. :) 6. Hamsters reside as much as three years. four on the max. 7. Yes, you'll feed your hamster apples. Little slices best. Like best the dimensions of your finger nail. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

    1. I'm not sure, but maybe after a duration

    2. You can lay one hand near them in the cage and gentle guide them to it with your other hand. Or you can gently guide them into a container and lift them from there. I know how you feel about this. I don't wanna squish 'em either!

    3. You can slowly begin waking them up at 8:00, then 7:30, so on. Also, gently tapping on the cage while get them aware of your presence.

    4. I have no idea what's wrong with it. Maybe ask a friend who also has hamsters, or if all else fails, take it to the vet.

    5. As long as you give it a variety of chew stick and places to hang out and explore, it should be fine. Also make sure it has access to a wheel for exercise and maybe get it a hamster ball?

Open this for ideas for toys. try cage accessories and toys:

    1. Hamsters have poor vision so they recognize you by smell and sound.Talk to it often and let it smell you.

    2. The best way is to scoop it up from under the tummy with one hand, careful and gentle though, and then use your other hand to support the dairy air.

    3. Don't ever disturb your hamster when they are sleeping, they won't be happy, but if they are already awake and seem active then go right ahead.

    4. I don't know get that thing checked.

    6. I think this one is is supposed to be 5, but whatever. I dont't know how exactly to tell but I know that it is important to circulate toys very often because they have about the same attention span as a toddler.

    1) Hamsters can recognise your face and they can also recognise your smell :D.

    2) You let it either walk onto your hand, try tempting him/er with treats. You can also pick it up scooping it under the belly :) for a more detailed way to pick it up use a search engine :)

    3) Don't wake your hamster up because it's natural reflex will be to bite you even if it dosen't mean it :) But, if they are awake you will be able to play with him but if he wants to go back to sleep, let him.

    4) Sounds like a tumor to me, go get it checked out and the vet will not to do. Leaving it is not what a loving owner would do.

    5) ;) what happened there?

    6) Signs of boredom are, cage biting, furious burrowing in corners, running around for no reason, (dwarfs do this abit so it might not be a sign of boredom, just it having fun) and Squeaking. Try let him out his cage and put him in a play pen

1.Not really but they do recognize you buy smell

2.Cup your hand in the cage and let it crawl in your hand

3.Yes. They also adjust to your schedule if you play with them at the same time every day

4.If the hamster is in no difficulty or stress or pain then there is no reason to consider the drastic action. Hamsters can live quite long lives after a tumour develops. It is quite popular for rodents to get benign tomours. My pet rat had one and he lived quite happily and was healthy. If it starts to hurt then call a vet.

6.He will start to try to escape and chew on the bars.
