"I've got emotion dripping out my pores" is that a metaphor? or imagery? or what?
Also, "You smoked the demons, gave me back my feelings" is a metaphore right?

Let's ignore your 'samples' - woof!
When in disgrace with Fortune and men's eyes,
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possess'd,
Desiring this man's art, and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least.
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate;
For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.
my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven's gate - Will figures his emotional self is a songbird - the lark - THAT's a metaphor
bootless cries - Well, one does not cry with boots but the IMAGE of boots (kicking) and of being bootless (no boots, poor, no vigor - all of the meanings that a word like bootless conveys - THAT would be an example of imagery
Basically, every time there's a description, an IMAGE is created. As if a picture is taken.
A METAPHOR on the hand requires a bit more. Just as Will has done here with the image of a lark. His inner self is given wings. He flies! He sings! Or at least he does when he thinks of his lover.

Symbolism is used to place across a message using actual issues to symbolize something else. the yankee image is the Eagle, what does the eagle symbolize? Imagery, generally employs references to the 5 senses, to make a picture look in our ideas. Similes are hassle-free to locate, generally you will see like or as used generally. (he's right away as lightning) Metaphors, are extra problematic, yet they seem to be a assessment of in assessment to matters. (He has a bullish physique of ideas) Personification, provides very own traits to inanimate gadgets. (The partitions have ears)i'm no longer able to think of of a much better occasion. Assonance makes use of an analogous vowels in repetition (I fly kites; I used 3 i sounding letters)
