    no, its not.

    but public schools and stores and things only say happy holidays so they dont offend anyone.

    Hell no! I still say Merry Christmas in the middle of summer! Well not everyone celebrates, but most do, there's no offense with saying it.

    Yeah! One guy went to jail for life because he said "Merry Christmas" to a police officer.

    I agree that it should NEVER be illegal. We should all be so lucky to have that Christmas Spirit all year round.

    Thank God we live in a country where we are free to live our life as we please, follow whatever religion we wish, and say whatever we please. Merry Christmas is a phrase you'll hear quite often around the USA, and I hope we can continue to say it (and anything else we please) forever.
