Do Christians think everyone else's refusal to allow them to persecute us counts as us persecuting them?

Boy am I sick of hearing Christians braying and screeching about how they're persecuted. Until you've been declared sub-human property, bought and sold at auction, had your families ripped apart, been beaten and worked within an inch of death and not paid, and forced to sleep in the mud with hogs, shut up and go back to playing your $600 video games. Yeah, you have it so much worse than everyone who's ever lived.

I remember them saying it was persecution when they could not place a giant Ten Commandments monument in front of a COURTHOUSE. lol.

The message with that could not have been more blatant if they had a giant Jesus statue with flannel and a Git Er Done cap and shotgun and sign saying "I am the law".

Not being allowed to bully their way into politics with their insultingly cherry picked beliefs is not discrimination. The Church bombings in Norway. Now, THAT is discrimination.

Ask yourself why it is only Christians that get attacked and not the other religions?!!!!

Do you not recognise that Christians are provoking retaliation and repudiation for their terrible attitudes?!!

Perhaps if Christians stopped their intolerant, egotistical, hate filled and bigoted postings things might change!!

Perhaps if Christians stopped eschewing education, science, evolution works of fiction and much, much more things might change!!

Perhaps if Christians stopped being the only religion opposing human rights and persecuting gays, pro choice and so much more things might change!!

Perhaps if Christians stopped demanding freedom of religion whilst they deny it to all non Christians and persecute them things might change!! !!!

If Christians rediscovered the god of love and forgiveness and put aside all those terrible human emotions things would definitely change!!!!

Why are Christians so afraid of people who simply do not believe in any god?!!!! Surely it can only be because they are so afraid that atheist are right and they are wrong or it would not bother them!!!!!!

So please understand it is not about belief, God or Jesus but about the terribly BAD christian attitudes and conduct!!

As soon as Christians rediscover the loving god and start acting like it the problem will cease!!!!

But then if you are so upset with it all why not take comfort in the fact that there extreme behaviour is emtying the churches?

Attendance is reported by the churches themselves to be falling faster year on year and a recent surver showed a drop of nearly 10% in those claiming to be christian!!

Leave them to it with their self destructive extremism!!

you have a wierd definition of "persecution" because of the fact Christmas is a holiday in this usa. If Christians are persecuted, we could celebrate the birthdays of alternative religious founders as a replace. There are greater Christian holidays than Jewish, Hindu, or Islamic holidays interior america of a.

A persecution complex allows them to treat others like garbage while feeling superior to those others. Christians love to feel persecuted.

Lighten up, honey. It's just as bad for everyone else in R&S. Nobody's really persecuting Christians in here. I'm one so I can say it. Real persecution is having to die for one's beliefs.

The irony is the throughout most of history they have been the ones torturing and persecuting innocent people who did not share in their "beLIEves"

God bless the holy inquisition, torturing humans in the most ill way ever created, and all in the name of jesus.

In the past the church persecuted people for telling the truth, and now they want respect for telling porkies.

  • I believe that you have it all wrong. Christians are persecuted for their belief in God not physically, well at least not anymore.

So..you're pretty much summing up all Christians and saying that they have perfect lives and that they haven't been in situations like you described?
