what was in the secretly recorded FBI tapes of Dr.King?
i was watching a special on CNN about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the man who assassinated him. i caught the show a lil late. they were saying that the FBI secretly recorded phone conversations of Dr. King and that in the recordings they caught him talking about sex in a vary strange abnormal way. then they sent the recordings to his home with the incriminating parts highlighted in attempts to black male Dr.King. What was in the tapes? is this even true?

I don't believe they ever went into any extent on what exactly was said on the tapes other than he talked about sex in an abnormal way, and blackmailed him with them.
Though the tapes were made known to the public, the actual dialogue has not been. (As far as I know)

Mr King was an adulterer. Like many men he cheated on his wife. How and who with is not important. It doesn't change his positive accomplishments.
An interesting side note, Robert F Kennedy was the Attorney General.
Democrats were responsible for ordering the wire taps.
