I do not wear a glue-less lace wigs myself but I have manufacturers that make them.
It stays on by the elastic that goes all the way around the perimeter of the wig. The material covering the head is stretch netting. Stretch netting allows room for your natural hair to grow without ruining the lace wig.

there is a tape that u can use for the lace front. some people use that and some just sew the lace front on to your braided hair
