Is the "idea" of an alien race having created human life forms any more ridiculous than an invisible God?

Aside from the bible we have yet to come across any solid, verifiable evidence suggesting we were created by a God. The same is true for aliens creating humans.

So if a group of people believe this idea with such little proof, then why get worked up at the near suggestion that maybe we were created by aliens?

It's a far more reasonable hypothesis.

Aliens are technically life, so Dawkins and others who propose life may have been seeded by aliens solves nothing.

So imo, it's more ridiculous since the idea lacks deep thought when it comes to existential philosophy. Not to mention the theory is pulled out their a** and based on absolutely nothing. You'd think someone like Dawkins would find the hypothesis offensive based on that alone.

I'm not saying it's not possible we were seeded by aliens, but that kind of answer is not satisfactory for the question of why there's life.

Who's suggesting that an alien race created humans?

Because we all need a sense of where we come from. It provides something to cling on to no matter what happens.

Think about how bummed out you were when the whole Santa Claus thing came out. There you were, scared and feeling alone with no hopes for that one featured present. And your whole life that's all you knew, that on Dec. 24th, there was a jolly man under your tree with a big bag of happiness. Your friends all believed it too. After 9 years it's hard to let go.

Even harder to let go after 2000+ years.

I think the bible is a useful text, and I'm not referring to it in a negative way, I'm just stating the strength of emotional attatchments in deep seated beliefs.

The idea that aliens crated human life is less ridiculous than a God in the same way that rotten beef tastes less foul than feces.

Remember that in the days of decption ahead.

As for what we have been conditioned to call “aliens”, they are actually called "watchers" or "sons of God".

Ancient antediluvian depictions of them before their imprisonment [2 Peter 2:4 / Jude 6]:

After Phil Schneider and the boys dug them up [Amos 9:2]:

You can read more about them in Genesis 6 and the books of Enoch, Jasher, and Jubilees. They do plan on pretending to be "aliens" soon as told of in

    2 Thessalonians 2:9-12

All this just in time for 2012. Billions will fall for it, but you won't because we are talking about it here and now before it even happens. I highly recommend the movie KNOWING.

People continue to see aliens and their crafts. Sightings of God or Saints are extremely rare.

    They are both ridiculous.

The difference is that there is no UFO-believer who tries to force an alien-creation-hypothesis to be taught in school as an alternative to evolution...

Who's getting worked up over it? Personally, I couldn't give a levitating fornication what people believe as long as they don't knock on my door and insist on telling me about it.
