Why bother with school? Unless you like sleeping on the sidewalk you might want a job so you can pay rent and eat the food of your choice rather than what you get from a garbage can.

As far as teachers being "jerks" sure, you will encounter good and bad teachers but don't let them ruin your life, just stay focused learn the material and get through it. School is not just about learning information but also how to deal with people and learn how to be in situations that maybe you don't want to be in, that being said it sounds like your first lessons are in full swing!

Just stick with it, get through it and you will be better off than if you quit and start pumping gas for the rest of your life.

Wait, dear friend. The only way to get ahead is through school. Why do you consider teachers jerks? They are there to provide knowledge (however they do it). You just have to figure out how to get the most (and a good grade) you can.

Did something specific happen in school recently that made you upset? You know, we're only human and we do have bad days. Maybe it's something you can discuss with your teacher.
