Every engaged and married couple should see this movie. God should be first in the lives of everyone. Having God in our lives does not mean that we will never have problems or people would want Him just for that reason; it means we have someone to help us through life's problems.
I don't want to try life without Him.
Kirk Cameron, the husband in the movie, kissed his real life wife in the scene in the Fire Hall. As a Christian he would not kiss the actress as he considered that an act of unfaithfulness.Just think of how many couples would not be divorced if we all had high morals like that.

As an evangelical, born-again Bible-believing follower of Jesus, I wish Christians would make real movies, write real novels, and perform real music. I liked Passion of the Christ, John Grisham's "The Testament," and the music of Phil Keaggy, Third Day, and Loreena McKennitt.
Kirk Cameron is not a film actor, he's a sitcom star. Let's make real movies, not embarrassing amateurish hokum. Lord help Christians who think this garbage is "good film."

It had a very good story to it. I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10. Anyone who is having troubles with their marriage should watch it, and anyone who is thinking about getting married should watch it, so they know what marriage is really about.

I thought it was fantastic. It almost perfectly mirrored my best friends' marriage, right down to the ending.
Acting was average, but the honesty and reality of the plot was great. Loved it.

it was really good---parts of it bothered me (like where he was trying SOOO hard and she just kept ignoring it, but I think they were trying to convey that she had had enough and was done)
Anyway my husband and I watched it and really liked it.
