08' chinese moped automatic leaking oil any idea why?

Small cc scooters demand perfect air intake. The power lose is likely related to the oil leaking around the air box. Your car mechanic will not agree, but even loose screws around the air box (which shelters the air filter) will leave you pushing your scooter up those hills that inertia couldn't could. I suggest having a qualified powersports service shop. I would probably start with a honda shop considering chinese scooters are manufactured with only expired honda designs or with pseudohonda parts. Chances are, however, that your yang ying will require parts that can't be aquired without a euro currency conversion.
