Where the hell is hell?
Could someone please explain the logistics of hell? Is it in the center of the earth or floating below earth in space? If it is in the center, how are people not crushed by pressure? If it is in below, how do people breathe? If people are only spirits without physical needs how can they feel pain w/out nerve endings?

Hellfire is a man-made teaching. It is not a Biblical teaching.
The word hell comes from the Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek word Hades. It means the common grave of mankind.
The concept of "hellfire" comes in part from the mistranslation of the Greek word Gehenna. In some translations Gehenna is translated hell, even though Gehenna has a completely different meaning than Sheol and Hades. In the Hebrew scriptures Gehenna is "the valley Hinnom" where unfaithful ones had sacrificed their children in the fire in worship to the false deity Molech, a practice that the Bible itself says the true God "had not commanded and that had not come up into [his] heart." (Jer. 7:31) Faithful King Josiah had this valley made unfit for such a horrible practice, and it was turned into a huge garbage dump instead. Fires were kept burning there by means of sulphur to burn the garbage. Bodies of executed criminals who were deemed unworthy of a proper burial were dumped there. Symbolically, it represented complete destruction without hope of a resurrection.
The "lake of fire" mentioned in Revelation has a similar meaning to Gehenna. Rev. 20:14 explains: “And death and Hades [hell, King James Version and Douay Version] were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.” So the lake of fire means eternal destruction. Death and hell/Hades cannot literally be burned. But they can, and will be, destroyed, according to the Bible.
The consequence for sin is death. Not eternal torment. (Rom. 6:23; Gen. 3:19; Psalm 146:3, 4)

That's quite a list of questions !
Q 1 - If people are only spirits without physical needs how can they feel pain w/out nerve endings?
A 1 - Who says people can feel pain ?
Q 2 - If it is in below, how do people breathe?
A 2 - Who says people breathe ?
Q 3 - If it is in the center, how are people not crushed by pressure?
A 3 - Who says people are alive ?
Q 4 - Is it in the center of the earth or floating below earth in space?
A 4 - Neither !
Q 5 - Where the hell is hell? & Could someone please explain the logistics of hell?
A 5 - Hell is the GRAVE,
It is where ALL DEAD people are. they are there waiting for their resurrection.
If the people are believers they will come up in the first resurrection and go to Heaven.
The rest, the unbelievers come up 1000 years later in the resurrection of the damned,
face their judgment and are consigned to " Hell-Fire " and the Second Death !
May God bless you as you study His Word

Even if you assume that the souls of the damned are the same size as human beings and that they can't overlap, there's still plenty of room inside the Earth to fit a lot of souls. Let's say one soul has an average volume of 1/6 of a cubic meter.
The volume of the Earth's interior is about 1x10^12 cubic kilometers, which is 10^21 cubic meters. With six souls to a cubic meter, that's enough God-damned space for a Hell of a lot of God-damned souls.
Roughly 6x10^21. That's a Hell of a lot more damned people than have ever lived. There's enough room for not only people, but for every damned thing that's ever lived on this planet. But eventually of course, God may have to expand his horizons. Or Satan's. Never fear. The sun is a Hell of a lot hotter than the Earth, so more suitable to punish the damned, and it's a great deal bigger to boot. And it can keep scorching the damned for another few billion years or until God is satisfied, whichever comes first.

first to Prepare this World, and
second to locate the Portal.

Understanding spirituality from the basics... all becomes clear! Bhagavad Gita the most sacred Scripture of Hinduism on Mother Earth explicitly explains all concepts on the path of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and salvation (moksha).
Right from the first manifestation as an amoeba (single cell formation) to the last... the 8.4 millionth manifestation when human beings gained enlightenment and salvation... all is clearly explained in Bhagavad Gita. The concept of big bang, the concept of God Almighty, why human beings are born... the relationship between soul atman and human beings... all is explained in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!
Our soul atman manifests the human form 1.1 million times before it regains its original pure prime pristine primordial form! After the death of the human body... if matching parents are not available on Mother Earth... the soul atman hibernates in heaven or hell. In heaven... if the residual balance of karma is positive... and hell if negative!
Both heaven and hell exist in Sun. Heaven (termed Swarga in Hinduism) exists in the core of Sun where temperatures exceed millions of the centigrade... It is in such high temperatures the soul atman feels comfortable. Hell (termed Naraka in Hinduism) exists in the periphery of the sun where temperatures are considerably less... it is in such to temperatures the soul atman suffers for eternity.
In the circumstances... do we still feel one can go bodily to heaven or hell? Both heaven and hell are meant for the real self of us... our soul atman... the spirit within and never the human body! The preaching by the religious masters that choicest seat would be made available in heaven is simply a guise... a ruse to attract masses to their fold.
The moment matching parents become available on Mother Earth... the hibernating soul atman immediately manifests a new body... and starts a new cycle of life! More on Hell- http://www.godrealized.org/understanding_the_whole...

I wonder that too. I just try to do the best I can to live for God and I admit I do a poor job. I believe Hell would be to be cut off from God forever. Heaven is anywhere God is. I been taught that Heaven will be set up on this Earth. Who really knows for sure. Nobody. It is creepy to not understand. We naturally fear the unknown. Every religion says their correct. The funny thing is they can all teach it to where they all sound right, so I just stay mixed up.

your question is not only interesting but there is logic in it too and shows you do think of religion.
But at the same time you don't believe much in religion.
Well every religion which claims to have a Hell has a different definition of the hell.
Some believe, we will be given a new body after death..some say hell is right here on earth and when you are in trouble this is the punishment of your sins.
Some say it is in heaven. there are snakes and fire in which bad people will burn.
Whatever it is, just avoid it by trying to be a good human.
Good luck.
See you in heaven

Hell isn't physically on earth. The human mind is unable think of the reality of hell. I think God limits us in that way. Maybe it's somewhere out there in space. The soul will go there so it doesn't have to be a physical location.
god works in mysterious ways and you will never know the answer to your question until you leave this earth for.....?

Most of people's preconceived notions about hell stem from pictures they see of what hell is supposed to look like, during my art history class as a sophomore, my teacher explained how during the dark ages, all art was to be related to the bible or religious teachings or the artists would be deemed heretics an sentenced to death, and thus all artists at the time could only be employed for bible illustrations, gradually people saw the artists renderings of what hell might look like and took them completely serious and began spreading by word of mouth what they saw. Therefore it is quite fallacious to claim an exact location for hell as our only ideas are based upon someone else's nightmares on canvas.
I knew you weren't serious, just thought i'd get that out there.
edit: Franshund... believe me i can feel pain, people do feel pain, we have a nervous system just for that, and a cerebral cortex to make sure we register it, and we can breathe; we have a very basic respiratory system lungs... pump...inhale oxygen. You could benefit from a biology lesson.

Since the word "hell" in the Old English language, meaning to cover up, bury or pit, was used to translate the Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek word Hades meaning "Grave". Then all who die go to the grave (sheol-Hebrew, hades-Greek, hell-Old English).
The hellfire damnation doctrine is what changed the definition of the word 'hell" from "grave" to a subterranean chamber of terror and eternal torment.
There is no such place. It only exist in the minds of those who authored it and have taught this ungodly doctrine for so long that many people believe it to be the truth.
