call the police, it is harassment which is a crime. Try calling the number from a payphone and asking them to stop. The officer you spoke to was just being lazy.

It really depends on how much work the person wants to do.
The easiest way is to call the cell phone carrier and ask that the number be blocked. Some carriers can do this, others won't, but that should be the first step.
If they won't block the number and you don't want to change the number, contact the police again; what this person is doing is harassment and it's similar to someone calling you over and over and over.
Pressing charges on someone is an involved process and it can really hurt a family... you should only resort to that if all else fails. The *best* course of action is to ask to have the number blocked or change the cell phone number.

did no longer we purely answer this one? you have 2 recommendations: a million- call the cellular telephone provider and ask to have the extensive style blocked. some will, yet some won't... so the subsequent step could be to alter the telephone extensive style 2- Press harassment expenditures with police. i don't be attentive to who you spoke with, however the harassment reported is not any diverse than somebody calling a telephone extensive style consistently; the two are unlawful if the guy is asked to stop. The *ultimate* direction of action is to call the cellular telephone company and ask to block the extensive style or substitute their telephone extensive style. Police involvement will rigidity the relatives relationships and could in straight forward terms be used as a final hotel.

You will have to check with your cell phone provider, however, i believe that you can get the number blocked. This does not change the fact that this person knows your number and can text or call it from any other phone.

I'm not to sure but you might be able to call your wireless service provider and see if the number can be blocked from calling your friend. That's just about the only thing I can think of.
