When filing bankruptcy in California?

Can you add expenses that an ex keeps taking you to court for. Such as, medical reimbursements, orthodontic care etc....particulary when the ex changed the insurance so that a large deductible applied and never advised you of that fact....pocketed the difference....or signed a $5k ortho contract without your input or approval?

Bankruptcy is federal, not by individual states, but...most likely you can include these bills, contact a local bankruptcy attorney, most will see you free the first time, they will need to see your income, assets, list of all your debts and taxes, and will be able to tell you what you can do from that point and what you would qualify for. Most of the bankruptcy filings are for medical and/or divorce situations. You can review more bankruptcy information at www.usbankruptcy.gov Good Luck!

I would think they would apply since they are part of your debts, right? Aren't you supposed to inform the court of all debts and Those are part of all debts. But I'm not an expert on bankruptcy. Just a little supporter.
