MN renters insurance?

Where can I find information about the number or percentage of renters that actually have renters insurance? I heard it was only like 10% of renters have renters insurance but I don't recall now where I heard that and now I need to know for a project. Info specifically for Minnesota or US averages would be the best! Thank you for your help!

Update:

I am an isurance agent, so yes, I know that a buldings coverage does not apply to renters personal belongings. I'm just looking for a percentage to use in my project/presentation. I'm working with properties in the area to educate and really push the issue home to residents. And renters insurance is cheap!

Did you realize your apartment community's insurance policy does not cover your personal belongings when a natural disaster strikes? Most apartment communities' insurance only covers damage to the building, leaving your belongings uninsured. Renters Insurance offers protection for your personal property when fire, theft or a natural disaster occurs. Between the years of 1976 and 2004, Minnesota had 26 declared major disasters, ranking Minnesota among the top ten states in number of major disaster declarations. But Renters Insurance doesn't just end there; it also can cover your liability if someone is injured in your home.
