Is it ok to eat a large breakfast and nothing else for the day?
Ok I know what everyone is gonna say...Eating 5 or 6 smaller meals a day is better than eating one big one. But I want to know if anyone has tried to eat first thing when they wake up and then nothing for the rest of the day. How did this affect u? did you lose any weight?
I only want answers for my specific quesion...nothing off topic

Have you ever seen those pictures or commercials of the starving kids in other countries and they have those big huge bellies. Have you ever wondered why? That's because when you don't eat at least 5 small meals a day, your body doesn't know when it is going to get food again. So it stores the food to be used later. By eating only once a day you slow down your metabolism and your body starts storing the food it does have in case it doesn't get any for a while.

My son is basically over 2 and at his 2 twelve months appointment become 21 pounds. The physician has in no way suggested a ingredient different than that healthful toddlers are available in all types and sizes and he looks large. probability is the ER checklist knows not a good purchase approximately pediatrics and become asserting something ignorant. a infant that eats generally and is growing to be should not be reason for alarm in any respect. all the obsession interior the U. S. over growth charts and weight and evaluating toddlers creates such an undesirable obsession surrounding length. i've got discovered the only constructive-hearth way for my son to not eat is for me to be under pressure approximately what he's or isn't ingesting. otherwise he eats while he's hungry and forestalls while he's finished.

Eating one meal a day slows your metabolism, because your body thinks it is starving the rest of the time. This is reinforced by the one large meal.
You can lose weight like this, but once you stop, you will regain all the weight you lost and then some.

no because your body's digestive system is still digesting the food from last night and if you eat a large breakfast in the morning your body will have to digest that and it will take a long time

No it is not okay! You need food throughout the day to keep your body going. By not eating you don't have as much energy as you should.

no because that is going to slow down your metabolism and your body thinks its starving its self so you may lose weight but then whatever you eat the fat will become your fat

Everybody's saying that you'll gain weight...
But everybody's body is different. No harm in trying it out to see how it makes you feel.
