2000 Hyundai Elantra headlight problems please help!!!?
My friend Drives a 2000 hyundai elantra, and his headlights are really weird in how they are messed up. One headlight will go out (both the regular and high beams), he will replace them and then the other set of headlights (both regular and high beams) go out about a week after that. Then the next week the first set of lights go again and then the others and so on and so forth. How do we fix this plaese?
My guess was something with the fuses, but not entirely sure.

how would wearing latex gloves cause both the high and low beams to fail at the exact same time?

When he replaces the bulbs, is he wearing latex gloves or is he doing it with his bare hands. If he is installing them with his bare hands and his hands come into contact with the bulb itself, the oil left behind from his skin will get very hot and cause the bulb to fail.

Did you change the bulb, even temporarily just to be sure? You can't always see the break. An ohmmeter can check the bulb as well. If it's not a bulb, it's a connection, a fuse or circuit breaker. I don't believe headlights are fused though.
