Building a ported box?

I'm fixing to build a couple of ported boxes and was wondering what would be good to black out the inside of the ports.

I thought about using some kind of black paint.

Any other suggestions on what i should use.

    black spray paint, not too much though

    I spray my whole box, interior and exterior, with the spray on undercoating at Wal-Mart. It deadens the box pretty good. Sand it down first and make it smooth.

    Pre-fab boxes are crap most of the time. I can build a better box, and cheaper too.

    you can buy a can of Rhino Lining Paint at Wal Mart or just about any Auto/Hardware store. And it has a really unique look. I really like it better than regular paint

    honestly if i were you i wld just buy a box its so much easier and it usually has a warranty and built pretty well too.
