Guitar > Line In > Fuzzy, Crappy Sound Quality?

I bought an adapter for my guitar to plug it into the computer. I plugged my guitar into my amp and a second cable from my line out to the adapter which is plugged into the line in slot on my soundcard.

I can hear the guitar now through the playback on my pc but it keeps breaking up and is really fuzzy. How do I fix this.

You need to lower the volume of the pc sound card. and increase the volume of the amp. If the source is fuzzy, so will the pc. Get a clean sound and put it flat. As for the breakng up, its not suppose to. What program are you using to reproduce the guitar ? Then I can help you.
