I bought a 97 Pontiac Sunfire from a licensed dealer. No interest, sold as is, however there is a lemon law in NC that protects consumers from being sold bad cars. Anyway, the shifter cable snapped, and I called my dealer. He arranged for a tow truck and arranged to have the car fixed. I just now found out after the fact that the only part of the expense he's paying for is the replacement part which he is asking me to pay him back on. Not labor, not the towing bill. I also found out he charged me $185 for temporary tags which I shouldn't have been obligated to pay. I went to pay the first months bill yesterday and he gave me the figure $185 when I asked him what I owed him. After paying that he informed me that the sum was for temp tags not the actual car payment and demanded another $150 for the car payment. So now I have to pay towing, labor for the car, the replacement part, temp tags and this is all before the first payment was due. And now he's adamant that I pay the $150 when the car is currently in the shop. He hasn't alerted me as of yet on how much the repairs are going to cost or how much its going to cost for the towing to get it out. I've already put down a $750 down payment and paid the $185 for the temp tags and now I have all these added costs that I shouldn't have to pay for in the first place. What are my legal options to be reimbursed for these costs and do I have a case?

Here's my code. But why the hell doesn't this work? No compiler errors, so it must be an error on my part. Whenever I run it for some reason it omits the last value for the average. I ran it with the values: X= 100 miles traveled, 100 miles traveled, 100 miles traveled and Y= 5 gallons, 4 gallons, 10 gallons. When it calculates the average its not 18.33 like its supposed to be, its 15 like it omitted including the last value for each coord yet still divided it by 3? Help please?

I'm starting a computer assembly business, building custom order PC's, I have a mock inventory created, everything checks out hardware wise so I'm ready to take the next step. Only problem is, I'm having trouble finding where I can purchase a windows license so I can install on multiple computers. I'm doing this 100% legally, its legit, just want to figure out what kind of license I'm looking for, how many systems they're good for. I'm sure there's a Business License or something similar somewhere on the microsoft site. Just can't find it, any help is greatly appreciated.

98 Ford Escort ZX2 Dual Overhead Cam Engine. Timing Belt snapped off. After looking at the belt, the belt shows no signs of tear or wear, no dry rot. The timing belt snapped because of something else obviously. We put a new one on, and the car starts now but has a really rough idle. Any suggestions? I'm guessing the sensor that sits under the valve cover on the exhaust side next to the crankshaft is the issue. We tried taking the crankshaft out and it released a lot of air and oil. I don't know if this has anything to do with it as I'm not the most car savvy. Anybody's professional opinion is greatly appreciated.

I'm 17 and received my first speeding ticket. 62 in a 45mph zone. I was in a 55mph zone going 62, which I'll concede was speeding, when a cop turned the curve and passed me in the opposite lane. I saw his lights go on and figured he was pulling over the guy in front of him. He started to turn around so I knew he was after me. I was slowing down and entered a 45mph but by this time I was already slowing down to pull over. I passed a few front yards and was trying to find some place to pull over where I wasn't on someones lawn, I saw a place around the corner and started to pull over. Problem was the top of the ditch was muddy, it had been raining that day, and my car slid down the ditch. The cop turned the curve and kept going thinking I was trying to run from him and didn't notice my car slid down the mudbank. At this point, I could've stayed there and waited for him to leave, But NO! My dumbass climbs up the mudbank and waves him down, he was about to turn towards town. He saw me in his rear view and turned around. He immediately assumed I was trying to run from him and started screaming at me. I was still shaken up from almost crashing my car so I just let him yell, I was kind of frozen. I tried to explain my car slid down the bank when I pulled to the side of the road, he looked at the skid marks, called a tow truck and issued me a speeding ticket for going 62 in a 45, even though he clocked me in a 55, and gave me ANOTHER ticket for failure to maintain lane control because my car slid down the ditch when I was pulling over for him.

What do I do about this? I am trying to enlist in the navy and I need to get this ticket taken care of as soon as possible. I don't have money for a defensive driving class or court costs. Is there any way I can get this thrown out? It was my first ticket and I still have prayer for judgment but I haven't taken the defensive driving class. Is it absolutely required that I do? and if so will they waive any fees associated with the class?

I just recently started my fall semester at my college and I noticed something odd. I was watching my philosophy teacher and I noticed that every time he told a joke, which they were hilarious, I noticed a white glow around him. I thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me. Today in my Psychology class I saw the same thing. A white outline around my teacher, however I had a feeling it was actually blue. Even though I saw white I just had a feeling it was actually blue. Like I was having a hard time focusing on seeing the light outline. It was weird.

So like I came home today and looked it up, white meant something about being spiritually inclined or evolved and blue meant emotional or something. I think I'm wrong about my philosophy teacher because as far as I know he's an Atheist but he has a very strict code of Ethics. Is it possible for non-religious people to have white auras? I know its possible to be spiritual without religion, I do astral projection occasionally and I have no religious affiliation or a belief in a higher power. My psychology teacher is very giddy and seems to know a bit about new age spiritualism, she mentioned a lot of the meditation and OBE techniques today as an example of the power of human thought.

I bought an adapter for my guitar to plug it into the computer. I plugged my guitar into my amp and a second cable from my line out to the adapter which is plugged into the line in slot on my soundcard.

My grandparents play SWG, and I just visited them for two weeks and started another character on my account, its a lvl 31 trandoshan commando. I got back home a few days ago and jumped on SWG and logged in, had a few patches I had to download and I did a full scan and everything, but my character can't won't and refuses to accept quests. The weirdest part is that the waypoints and directions are all dumped into the datapad but it never gives me the option to accept the quest so I never get XP or credits for doing it. I also can't accept terminal missions which blows since I level once a day with the Rebel Terminals.

Anyone know if there is a bug that causes this and how I can fix it?

Is he supposed to do that?! Calypso, my parakeet has a knack for being withdrawn and lazy. Partially this is because he has had scaly face mites for about a few weeks now. I took him to the vet immediately in December and he's looking a lot healthier now. He never really chirps or moves much, he just sits on his perch and stands all day. But for some strange reason today he started looking in his mirror, chirping and "squawking", not sure if this is because he is irritated or confused, and rolling over. He all of a sudden started acting very erratically and am wondering if it's something to be concerned of. I'm thinking maybe he's hyper. I am currently trying to get him to switch to pellets but he refuses to eat them so he picks out just the seeds that are mixed in and leaves them there. However, since I ran out of seeds today I used a fruit mix the vet gave me and mixed it in. That's when he started acting hyper. Is hyperactivity normal in a parakeet? I know their quirky I'm just not sure if I fed him too much sweets?

He also just started spinning his head like he's from the exorcist.

I have been receiving e-mails from Harvard and Cornell on a regular basis about my possible admission. I am currently 16 years old, I am in state custody and I am no longer allowed to have contact with my parents willingly and through court order. I am now living with my girlfriend's family. How do you solve these problems algebraically, this test is designed to make me feel stupid.

I'm dead sick of hearing the bullcrap from fundamentalists specifically, I use Fundamentalists as an example because they are less open-minded than other Christians who are willing to hold a discussion without being hypocritical, about how science is the tool of the devil and how evolution is evil because of its insinuation that we evolved from primates.

One thing that some people do not understand is that Science is changing all the time, kind of like GOD! Science constantly finds new evidence for subjects of discussion and debate and is constantly revising theories to explain things better. Evolution, obviously, is one of those theories that are hard to test. Its like the theory about how black holes are formed because we don't have the means to test them in a lab, however, that will change this year because there is a particle collider that has passed inspection and has been allowed to make mini-black holes to test how they develop.

I am 16 and have a Limited Learners Permit. I have to wait a year before getting the privilege to drive by myself in the daytime. This I know. I have been attending college for a year now and have had to rely on others' transportation to get there. Recently the state was granted custody of me and I currently live further away from school than I used to. This semester I would have to find transportation again and rely on someone else. I am having trouble finding anyone willing to go out of their way to come pick me up due to outrageous gas prices. So I was wondering if there was requirements, whether it be classes or emancipation, that I can do to get independent driving privileges, I don't care how supervised or strict it turns out, I just need to drive myself to school. Normally I would have those privileges next March. Any help is appreciated.
