USB Controller Drivers for Dell Inspiron 1000?
I need the drivers for the USB controller on my motherboard so it will recognize devices. I tried the dell site and couldn't find it as well as using google and whatnot. Find it for me and post a download link. First one to help me gets 10 points.

Given it's age you'll have a challenge. Are you running XP with the latest service pack as the USB device might be detected. Another option is to apply the BIOS update:

There is a risk you'll brick your machine but it could update your system so your operating system has the ability to detect the USB. Good luck.
